Doing The Course:
Though the Bible Correspondence Course was not something entirely written by Mr Armstrong, it was compiled from notes taken originally from his Bible classes in Ambassador College. In addition several editorials within the course have been written by him, and he gave the program his full backing on many occasions. It is therefore included here as a valuable tool for those who wish to use it in getting Back on Track.
The lessons on Get Back on Track are provided as TIFF images of the originals. As images, they are best printed first, so they can be studied alongside a physical Bible. Being TIFF files they are much larger than most of the other HTML material on this site, and will therefore be slow to download if you do not have a broadband connection. The files vary in size from 4.5Mb to 11Mb.
Doing The Tests:
The 32 lessons of the course were formerly arranged in groups of four lessons, with each of the eight levels being followed by a short test. We suggest you use the sequence as originally intended, following through the levels provided below. Unlike the lessons, you will find that the tests are HTML files with an automated marking system. Once you have completed the test for a level just done, and clicked on the SUBMIT button found at the bottom of the form, your answers will then be marked and the results returned to you almost instantly.
If you would prefer to print out a test and complete it away from the computer, a scorecard system is also provided to make it easier for you to enter your results after doing so. It works in an identical way to the Test, but without displaying the questions. The scorecard mirrors what was sent previously to students. Only by returning a completed scorecard to the office would students in the past receive the next batch of 4 lessons.
